Residents Enjoy Community Picnic at Holbeach Meadows

Residents, families, team members and the local community came together at Holbeach Meadows care home in Holbeach for a wonderful picnic celebration filled with homemade food, social connection and entertainment. The catering team at Holbeach Meadows Care Home pulled out all the stops to create a wonderful picnic for our residents, families, local community, and team members!

Although the weather didn’t cooperate once again, the drizzle couldn’t dampen our spirits. Everyone still came together to enjoy a delightful afternoon filled with laughter, conversation, and of course—fantastic food.

On the menu: a generous spread of sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls, scotch eggs, fresh salads, quiches, vegetable tarts, pork pies, pizza slices, and crispy potato skins. For dessert, we treated everyone to cupcakes, brownies, mini donuts, and beautifully presented custard tarts.

Social events and shared dining experiences play an important role in supporting wellbeing, encouraging conversation and helping residents stay connected with family, friends and the wider community.
