Dementia Support and Advice in Holbeach 

Tuesday 19th May 10am – 1pm we will be hosting a Dementia Information Day as part of our Dementia Action Week 2026 events. 

The event will bring together the local community and specialists to offer support, guidance and actionable information for those living with dementia, their carers, as well as their families and friends. 1 in 3 people in the UK living with dementia do not have a diagnosis, education and awareness are imperative.

91% of people affected by dementia say there are benefits to getting a diagnosis. Maybe you are worried about your memory, or you have a diagnosis of dementia, or you have a loved one with dementia. Meet other people and healthcare professionals who support people with dementia and their carers with a range of local services, information, support and advice. 

Dementia Awareness & Community Support in Lincolnshire 

The goal of this event is to encourage greater empathy and awareness of the condition and help people better understand how dementia can affect individuals and families. Our sessions are always popular, so be sure to book in advance. We’re also hosting a Silver Screen dementia friendly film viewing if you’re looking for something else to do.

Dementia Action Week Events at Tanglewood Care Homes 

Across all of our care homes, we are striving to raise awareness, provide support and raise funds for dementia. 

Horncastle care home residents and staff have taken on the Big Walk Challenge, with all donations going to support people living with dementia. The Horncastle care home Facebook page has more details.  Meadows Park care home team are taking on the challenge of a 24-hour treadmill walk to raise money.
