We show classic feel good films, starting with Carry On Nurse. The Holbeach Meadows care home team puts on these events to provide a safe social and supportive environment for people living with dementia and their loved ones. Nostalgic old classic films are a great way to give audiences the chance to connect with memories and reminisce with loved ones.

We’re very lucky to have such fantastic facilities at Holbeach Meadows care home, we love working closely with our community to share what we have with you to help and support those living in the Holbeach and wider Lincolnshire area. Cinemas aren’t always the most supportive environments for those with dementia. At Tanglewood, we think it’s important to create social spaces that are accessible, inclusive, and peaceful for our care home residents and the wider Holbeach community. Our care home cinema room has enough room for over 9 wheelchairs.

The cinema club will be supported by our dementia specialist care home team.

Can’t make it for the film screening?

A gentle reminder that our Holbeach care home cinema is available to rent free on a Saturday morning to families who are not able to visit a public cinema due to illness or disabilities. Families are able to log into streaming subscriptions, we’ve a large library of feel good DVDs or you can catch up on TV shows, or choose to bring along your favourite family film!
